Position Overview

*Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid.*

The Cyber Instructor will provide technical instruction and practical training in cybersecurity, networking, and virtualization technologies in support of government and military cyber operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating within SOF environments and delivering technical instruction to adult learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber-related classroom and hands-on instruction.
• Coordinate curriculum revisions and continuous improvement efforts for training curriculum, labs, and technical exercises.
• Provide instruction on networking fundamentals, protocols, systems administration, and virtualization technologies.
• Facilitate cyber exercises and practical demonstrations.
• Assess student progress and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Support enhancement of cyber training capabilities and readiness.

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Prior SOF experience.
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
• Proficiency in:
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Network protocols
  • Systems and network administration
• Strong instructional and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military cyber operations or instructor experience.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense training environments.
• Additional cybersecurity certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise virtualization technologies and cyber lab environments.
